Products

• Inserts

  Although they can be folded quite small, inserts are primarily used in situations when leaflets are hand applied or used in bulk products where the leaflet may be dropped into a container with the product. Inserts ordinarily are not glued. The major disadvantage with inserts and machine application is that they pop open and have open edges which create problems on the packaging line.

• Outserts Typically machine applied, outserts have no open edges and are glued closed so they don't pop open. They also have a blank area used by the drug manufacturer to glue the leaflet to the container. There are two styles of outserts described below.

• Ribbon Outserts

  A Ribbon Outsert is an outsert which has only parallel folds. They are customarily used in situations where there is a limited amount of copy.

• RTA Outserts

  "RTA" which stands for "Right Turn Angle" is an outsert which has both parallel and right angle folds. The advantage of the RTA is that it has significantly more copy space than its counterpart, the Ribbon.

  Sertech uses the finest miniature folding equipment available in the industry today. A wide array of equipment can handle simple to the most-complex fold configurations.

  Our in-house packaging department can produce custom packaging specific to your needs.
